From the free water and free breakfast (and 5E credit towards a "welcome drink"), this value-conscious hotel delivers comfort and convenience to the road-weary traveler. Front desk staffed by at least one fluent English speaker, generous breakfast buffet with leisurely weekend hours. Spacious bathroom with walk-out shower. Parking adjacent to hotel. After a week of Air BnB key exchanges and post-stay clean ups, it was nice to stay in a real hotel for a change. The restaurant had a series of eight colorful (abstract-ish) portraits that caught our attention. When none of the other guests could identify the subjects, we checked with the front desk, who promptly gave us the information we wanted: The "Kunst faces" of the Bauhaus movemet (early 20th century) included Wassily Kandinski, Walter Gropius, Gertrud Arndt, Paul Klee, Laszio Mohly-Nagy, Gunta Stolzi, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Lyonel Feininger, and Brund Taut. Absolutely fantastic! We booked because of the MagC anime Convention and i have to say that the Hotel was one of the reasons this weekend. We will definitely try to go next year. And we will definitely try to get a room in the same Hotel. So awesome!

Nice New hotel. It's fine for a night. The HDMI ports on the TV are blocked so can't use streaming device. Also, no provision to cast or mirror from phone so only TV provided by hotel. Real bummer about that.

Das Zimmer war sauber und total schick. Das Personal war super nett und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück ist extrem lecker und vielseitig. Also grundsätzlich erstmal alles toll. Aber: Leider war die Klimaanlage defekt, und noch leiderer hat uns das beim Einchecken niemand gesagt. Bei 30° Außentemperatur und direkter Sonneneinstrahlung war es im Zimmer nicht viel kühler . Wir dachten erst, die braucht Zeit, um in Gang zu kommen. Kam sie aber nicht. Der Fensterflügel, den man öffnen konnte, war sehr klein und nur zum Kippen , das hat man gar nicht gemerkt. Der Nachtportier hatte dann ein Einsehen und hat mir das Fensterschloss entriegelt, so dass wir wenigstens ab 3:30 Uhr halbwegs schlafen konnten. Ich musste nur schriftlich bestätigen, dass ich nicht vorhabe, rauszuspringen.

Extrem schlechte Luft im Hotelzimmer. Fenster lässt sich nur kippen. Klimaanlage funktioniert nicht richtig: maximal bis -5°C unter RT bei 35°C Außentemperatur. Dusche wird heiss und kalt im Wechsel, sonst schön gross und ebenerdig. Bett sehr fest. Mini Kühlschrank mit 0.2l Wasserflasche. Kein Schrank, kein Safe. Automatisierter Einkaufsladen hinter der Kasse war gut. Achtung: im Messeparkplatzbereich parken und 8€ pro Nacht sparen!

Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service -10 Punkte. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet, escwurde auch an Kleinigkeiten gedacht. Das Minibar-Konzept ist perfekt. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel und natürlich auch in Erfurt
