This is a recently renovated farmhouse with top quality furnishing and fixtures. The living areas and bathrooms have floor heating and a huge fireplace gives further charm and warmth. A concert Bechstein grand piano may be used by experienced players. The dining area has a table that sits 18 persons comfortably. The state of the art kitchen, with Aga traditional and induction stove and all necessary utensils, allows any Chef to prepare exquisite meals for many people. And the terrace has an Ofyr Island barbecue grill. Upon request a professional cook and/ or domestic helper can be arranged.

Two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, are on ground floor level and provide easy access to less mobile people. On the first floor the master bedroom - also with large bathroom ensuite - offers an amazing view over the river.

Fast (optic cable) internet connection and wifi coverage throughout the property.

A one hour drive from Amsterdam the house is located in the heart of the IJssel valley in between the pittoresque Hanseatic cities of Deventer and Zutphen. Erected on a river dune, the house lies in the flood planes in the midst of a European Natura 2000 nature reserve, which forms part of a network of protected areas.

The back yard has super scenic views - with not a building or tower in sight - and is home to many deer, hares, water birds and other wildlife.

The area offers great hiking, biking, fishing, horse riding and other outdoor activities. But just reading a book or merely watching from the panoramic windows, will already give you a very special experience.

Covered carparking in the barn and usage of adult & youngster bikes are included. Electric bikes may be rented from a nearby shop at modest costs.
