"Overall the hotel is an amazing location and very comfortable room. I’d highly recommend staying here based on location to easy transit and the view! Ok, now on to be critical. Due to the setup of the bathroom the door to the bathroom looks pretty beat up as it’s water-damaged at the bottom and looks like it’s going to fall apart. Prepared for water to get everywhere in the shower. If you can try and score a high-up riverside room, if you can, you’ll get an amazing view. We had a lower riverside room which was a great upgrade, but we were on floor 1 so the tree pretty much blocked our view. My biggest complaint was that while breakfast was a decent spread, it was not very warm, which was a bit odd. There was a conference going on during our stay so it was a bit noisy at breakfast so be prepared for that as the room is not large and they don’t always have the atrium room open where you can perhaps escape the loud noise."

"Inside is quite lovely. Just a short walk to all public transportation. Our whole side of the hotel had no air conditioning and it was hot. It wasn’t until the last day that they gave us a fan. The restaurant dinners were excellent! You must have the goulash. The housekeeping was done every day and the staff were so helpful and polite."

"Decent hotel, clean, quiet area and comfortable. It’s not too far from the castle area, (10-15 mins walk uphill) but is far from the Buda side where most the touristy places are so can be either a taxi ride away or a long walk. But if you’re looking for a good hotel in a quiet area and not bothered by distance to sights, then this is great! I didn’t use the restaurant or bar area, but both looked very nice and had good offerings. Staff were helpful upon check in, with reception available 24/7 if needed."

"Excellent staff, very helpful and kind. Breakfast was great everyday. The spa was great, sauna was amazing I was there on my birthday, they took the time to deliver chocolate to my room and a glass of champagne at dinner. I had a Danube river view balcony room. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The property is nice, location is walkable to mall area, and Budapest castle area. Subway is 5 minutes walk away. The subway is not complicated like London other than the language. I used a map. Not much on this side but Historical buildings. If you want more you need to be on the pest side. Hotel is nice, but it could use Better cable, jo Netflix for English channels, and no microwave. Bring your own wash cloth. No place in Europe use them. They use a wash towel. Basically this is a quite area, not much happening here. Room service is everyday, staff are nice. Budapest doesn't seem like a welcoming place for tourists, particularly Americans,. Most don't speak English and don't even try, they will simply ignore you. I spent 6 days to long in Budapest and won't return. But I was comfortable in my hotel. I would have stayed in the room most times, but could only find 2 channels in English, more movies at the theatre were in English than TV. Food is the same as all over Europe, it's all the same."
