Nice building, overpriced.

Posted 31-Aug-2017
Villa was once home of the Mercier family and has been expensively renovated. Our top floor room odd shape, fitted out badly with plastic chairs etc. bed firm to hard, wardrobe door impossible to shut with full hangers, breakfast not special, bar entrance outside but safe off road parking. Very pricey for what you actually get.

Central location for Champagne region visit

Posted 23-May-2017
Pros: Ambiance & very good sized rooms; quality fittings including toilet separate from bathroom (always a plus but rare to find). Stunning breakfast room
Cons: Happy with everything we experienced
Location: This hotel (in Eperney) is on the Avenue de Champagne in the heart of the Champagne district - no need to say more!
Excellent location (Avenue de Champagne) and beautiful ambiance at this private hotel. Large, well appointed rooms and stunning breakfast room facility with comprehensive and elegantly presented menu. Helpful, friendly staff. A bit of a walk from the centre of Eperney but easy access, including to recommended restaurants via taxi service.

Quality stay

Posted 17-Apr-2017 on Hotels
We came to Epernay for an important Birthday celebration. The Hotel is great and is just a 15 minute walk to Moet and the Town Centre. In Summer this will offer a respite from the crowds, and has a lovely pool and it's own bar. Our room was lovely and well furnished and the staff great. It was full at the weekend and just a shade on the pricey side but we did love our stay and wish we had stayed another night

A return visit to a very nice hotel

Posted 15-Dec-2016
Pros: Friendly and confortable stay. Just as I remembered the hotel from my last visit.
Cons: A restaurant for evening meals
Location: Lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby
A short walk to the centre of Epernay. A lovely boutique hotel with plenty of character

Read the small print!!

Location: Ate at La Sardaigne (recommended by hotel I must add) which was buzzing, great value and high quality. Breakfast at Vincent Dallet patisserie fantasti
On the face of it, the pictures represent a quality hotel worthy of the room rate. But whilst it is beautifully appointed, it's not exactly a hotel more so a very upmarket B&B with a bar because no dinner is available! The room was disappointing. We booked a King bed but didn't get one. Very small bedroom area and bathroom had no bath. The shower was tiny and we're not large!

Everything about this hotel was absolutely top notch! The service, the morning breakfast and the accommodations. Very very lovely! And, close to everything in Epernay. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Fairytale-like setting with loads of charm

Posted 12-Aug-2016
Pros: Everything.
Location: Good location at the end of the Avenue of Champagne. About .8 mile walk to the center of town but good for walking off champagne and good food!
We were here for two nights, exploring the Champagne houses of Epernay. The property itself is lovely, with picturesque gardens, spacious rooms and beautiful public areas. All of the staff were attentive, helpful, gracious and very knowledgeable about the area. Our French is poor, but their English was excellent.

Luxury on Avenue de Champagne

Posted 09-Jun-2016 on Hotels
We stayed two nights in May 2016 and it was fantastic! A little too cold for the pool, but the grounds are beautiful. Service was great with lots of recommendations for restaurants and wineries. It's walking distance to town and tasting.
