Gorgeous beach town. Nice cozy and comfy stay for our family. Beautiful town and easy to walk to the beach and to restaurants and shops. Moonlight motel is special and we can’t wait to return again soon. Nice accommodating staff, Highly recommended for a wonderful and comfortable beach stay.

Cleanliness is my biggest concern, and not only was it super clean...that shower water pressure was fantastic! The room was spacious, the staff was kind and helpful, and it's so close to the beach. I would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Just can’t beat this location! Walk to beach/ leave vehicle in the motel lot. Spacious rooms and kitchen amenities, patio. Comfortable beds and very clean. You will feel safe staying here. Many return here after initial stay. This was our second year staying here. The beach itself is terrific- concession stand with extensive menu, surf board rentals, lifeguard stands, fire pits, family atmosphere.

We loved staying here . The room was clean. Staff was super helpful and friendly and we really liked the short walk to the beach . We loved that we had our own little kitchenette where we could cook. They also have grills outside which we will have to use next time. The beds were comfy and the rooms looked like they were upgraded recently.We had a very comfortable stay and we can't wait to go back next year.

We have family in Encinitas so have stayed in a lot of places there and surrounding area (Carlsbad). This time we wanted to stay in Encinitas to be close for all the family activities . The Moonlight Beach Motel was perfect! It was clean, walking distance to the beach and the 101 and five minutes away from family. We absolutely loved the location, the friendly staff, and the comfortable room. Will definitely stay there from now on.
