Here, you’ll never forget you’re in the mountains. Every sunset brings a new display of colors creating a beautiful backdrop. Despite the tucked-away setting, getting here is refreshingly easy on all paved roads.

One of the most special parts of staying at Fawnwood is the wildlife. The deer aren’t just something you might spot on a distant trail. They visit daily right outside the cabin windows, always grazing nearby and offering an opportunity to observe them in their natural surroundings. Enjoy your morning coffee as you watch and listen to the woods come alive and keep an eye out for movement among the trees. You never know what you might see! We invite you to enjoy these encounters respectfully, giving the wildlife the space it needs to remain wild.

There are so many ways to soak in the setting. Unwind in the hot tub on the lower deck, curl up on the swing bed on the screened porch taking in the mountain view, or settle into a rocking chair on the front porch to watch the deer feed at their dining stump. Whether you’re watching the sunset paint the mountain ridges, listening to the sounds of the forest, or catching sights of wildlife, Fawnwood makes it easy to feel immersed in the mountains without ever leaving the comfort of the cabin.

The cabin is conveniently located only 10 minutes from downtown Ellijay, local wineries, and orchards, and 20-25 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge.

Sleeps 9 comfortably with sleeping quarters and full bathrooms on each floor, offering space and privacy for everyone.

Living Room:
Cozy up around the wood-burning fireplace, open to the kitchen, dining room, grilling deck and large screened in porch. There is a spot for everyone.

Loft Lounge:
Featuring a huge swing with soft seating to take in the mountainous view. The cozy vibe creates a space for both kids and adults to enjoy quiet time or lounge around.

Screened Porch:
Enjoy dining, lounging or even sleeping on the screened porch, which offers the best of being in the tree tops and the mountains. With a year-round mountain view, you can watch deer as they quietly approach, drawn to graze near the cabin.

Basement: The lower level is designed for fun, packed with games and entertainment to keep the young (and young at heart) occupied.

Features a KING-size bed, dresser in closet, 43" TV, and direct access to a full bathroom.

• Secondary Bedroom (Upper Level – Private)
Located upstairs beside the loft with a QUEEN-size bed, closet, 43" TV, and access to a full bathroom.

-LOFT (Open Concept)
located upstairs with a twin sized bed and access to a bathroom.

• Terrace-Level Bunkroom (Open Concept with Door at Stairs)
An open, family-friendly space featuring a TWIN-over-KING bunk bed plus a trundle, along with a 50" TV, arcade games, puzzles, chalk wall, art nook, hot tub access, and more—perfect for an entire family, all the kids, or a group of friends.

1GB High speed internet throughout the house

Two lakes, trails, tennis/pickle ball courts and the pool are a half mile, 12 minute walk from the cabin. You cannot hear any pool noise from the cabin.
