The cabin was fantastic - clean, fully stocked, comfortable beds and close to both Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The screened in back porch and outdoor kitchen were our favorite places to sit and enjoy the serenity of the lake plus the lake is so close to enjoy. The area under the house was a great place to retreat to and read. We were so impressed that we have booked another week in spring of 2026! Communication with the owner was very prompt and the online pictures were exactly as we found the cabin. You will not be disappointed!

Pictures don't do this place justice. Very well appointed, great location, comfortable. Easy check in and quick responses from the host. Everything was perfect!

Great for a quick getaway!

We went for 3 nights and it was more than what we had hoped. There was so much for the kids to do. The weather was cold but that didn’t stop the boys from using the peddle boat and the kayaks. We would love to come back especially when the weather is warmer!

Great Get Away Cabin

We had an amazing time at Lewis Lakeside Cottage. The property is in excellent condition and conveniently located in downtown Ellijay. I cannot say enough good things about this property but you will just have to see it yourself. We will be booking this property again in the future.

Fun before the Fun in Ellijay.

Small quaint cabin house on the lake. We had 2 couples which was room for relaxing. Furniture may soon need to be updated for comfort. I would recommend this cabin for a fun adventure.

My husband and I brought our three kids ages 7-10 to Ellijay, and we stayed 4 nights at Lewis Lake Cabin. I’m particular about cleanliness, and I was very impressed by how clean the cabin was. It made me feel really comfortable. The cabin had great outdoor space with a tv, ping pong table, and several seating options under a covered deck. Close to Blue Ridge and Ellijay. We will be back!

Wonderful location!

The house was cozy and well equipped with everything from kitchen necessities to bathroom luxuries. There were so many ways to have fun on the property. We loved playing ping pong, fishing and using the paddle boat just to name a few! The proximity to downtown Ellijay and Blue ridge was perfect and still felt perfectly remote. Our family highly recommends!

We arrived the day after Christmas and walked into a beautifully decorated cabin. The Christmas tree and all the little touches throughout the cabin made it extra special. The property has all of the amenities you need to enjoy inside and out. Including descent cookware, serving dishes and plenty of utensils. We will be back!

Amazing trip

This property was just perfect for a little gateway to the mountains. Caught a bunch of fish, enjoyed the fire, hot tub and the grill. They had everything needed and then some. This place was well stocked with necessities, cooking utensils, fishing gear, etc.. if you might have needed it they have it. We definitely would love to come back.

Excellent Family Time at Lakeside Cottage

My family (myself, wife, and two kids) stayed at Lakeside Cottage during Spring break. The cottage is very nice inside and outside. Inside, the cabin is very clean and well decorated. Everyone was pleased with how comfortable the beds were. The outside deck space is expansive and well done. We played table tennis, sat in the hot tub, and used the grill to make burgers. We also kayaked and fished. The communication from the owner was exceptional throughout. Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to coming back.

Our stay at Lewis Lakeside

This was our 3rd time staying at the Lewis Lakeside cabin. Every time we stay it gets better. My kids love the paddle boat and outdoor games. I love that the cabin has such a nice outdoor space especially since I have young children. There is plenty of space for them to run around and play. The views are amazing and they never get old. We hope to come back in the near future and continue our tradition:)

The view of the lake was beautiful. The cabin is adorable and comfortable. The showers were really nice and body wash and shampoo was supplied. We caught so many bass out of the lake. The bass were small but it was still fun.The slope from the cabin to the lake was minimal which was good for my 82 year old mom. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

We had a quiet and relaxing weekend. The kitchen has all the gadgets you need. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of enjoyable activities to do. The only thing we didn't like was all the spider webs and how small the lake was. Overall still had a great time.

Amazing Get-away

This cabin is amazing! It has everything you need. It has your Toiletries. We did not have to buy any extra. The only thing we had to purchase was our food and drinks. We was able to use the kayak's and paddle boat with no problem. They had several games and things for you to do so you don't get bored. We stayed in the master bedroom. It had a king size bed and it was the most comfortable bed out of all our get-aways. Will definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us.

Beautiful and quiet

Home was well stocked with dishes, and for the most part very clean. The inside could use a good dusting on the walls and windows. There are neighbors near the house but it still felt secluded and the property was very quiet. The lake was pretty and they provided plenty of items for you to use on the lake. The outside could use a cleaning, as the spiders and spiderwebs are taking over the outside patios and the covered back patio. There were also spiders and spiderwebs inside the house in both bathrooms. I understand the house is on a lake in the woods and spiders happen but the amount of spiders is more than normal.the house is about 10-15 minutes from Ellijay and about 20-25 minutes from Blue Ridge so great location. Overall the house and property is very clean and I would definitely rent again, just wish there was less spiders and webs.

The cottage is perfectly situated between Blue Ridge and Ellijay in a calm peaceful area and stocked with everything you need The lake is so pretty reflecting the lights at night as you sit by the Firepit. I’d love to stay again!
