If a restful holiday is part of your travel plans, Simos Beach might be the perfect place to visit during your trip to Elafonisos. While you're in the area, stroll along the seaside.
Sink your toes into the powdery white sand of Simos Beach, where crystal-clear turquoise waters invite perfect swimming conditions. Rent a kayak to explore hidden coves along the coastline or enjoy fresh seafood at waterfront tavernas in the charming fishing village.
Bit of magic in this place. It's slightly surreal . The room was lovely. Bed comfortable. Roomy. Shower bit cramp but not a problem. Bottle rose in fridge was nice. Very welcoming on arrival. Shown all facilities. Watch slippery steps in this gem of a place as you wander around getting fit and in a perpetual dream. Touristy but authentic and you feel the long dramatic history, if you have a soul.

Great value accommodation right next to the bridge that leads to Monemvasia Island with beautiful views of the island and the small harbour. Staff were friendly and gave me an upgraded room with an even better view. However all rooms here appear to have a balcony with views either over the island, the harbour or both. Rooms were of a good size, they have air con and were very clean. There is free parking right outside and it is right next to all the restaurants and bars yet the rooms are still...

Kinsterna Hotel is an exceptional establishment that I discovered last year, and I was so impressed that I immediately made a reservation for this year. This luxurious hotel offers a remarkable fine dining experience; the breakfast is incredibly abundant, and their restaurants are truly outstanding. They even cultivate all their vegetables on-site, which adds a unique touch to every meal.

These holiday bungalows, carefully equipped, spotlessly clean and lovingly maintained, are set around a lovely swimming pool. It was a great place to stay and visit the amazing town of Monemvasia. Note that it's a stiff 500 meter uphill walk from the bars and restaurants in the village. Note also that this complex is at the edge of new Monemvasia and not, as the Google map suggests, in the historic old town. It's a pleasant walk over the causeway, though.
