Blue Door Studio: Private Entry, Kitchen & Parking

  • Private guest studio in a quiet northeast El Paso neighborhood, with its own entrance, full kitchen, and free street parking right in front. Sleep on a hotel quality queen bed, unwind in the spacious rain shower, and stream on the smart TV. Fast Wifi and a dedicated workspace make it easy to work. Self check in with a keypad, cold A/C, and a Tesla Level 2 charger on site. Compact and cozy, ideal for one or two guests, with a sofa bed for a third. Hablamos español.

    THE SPACE
    The studio is fully self contained. Nothing is shared: you have your own entrance, kitchen, and bathroom.

    Sleeping area: queen bed with cotton linens, plus a sofa bed for a third guest.

    Kitchen: full refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, coffee maker with coffee, rice cooker, cookware, dishes, oil, salt, pepper, and spices.

    Bathroom: spacious walk in rain shower, soft towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryer.

    Comfort: mini split A/C and heating, ceiling fan, smart TV with streaming apps, fast Wifi, and a workspace.

    It is a compact studio, best for solo travelers, couples, or a couple with a child. Great for short trips and for stays of a month or longer.

    En español: estudio privado con entrada independiente, cocina completa, baño con regadera amplia, cama queen y sofá cama. Nada se comparte con la casa principal. Con gusto te atendemos en español.

    GUEST ACCESS
    You have the entire studio to yourself. Enter through the blue door with your keypad code, any time after 3:00 p.m. Free street parking is available right in front of the house. Please do not block the driveway. Driving a Tesla? A Level 2 charger is available on site. Let us know before arrival and you can park in the driveway to charge. There is no washer or dryer in the studio, but there is a laundromat nearby.

    OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
    One exterior security camera monitors the outdoor hallway for safety. There are no cameras inside the studio. This is a quiet residential neighborhood, so we ask guests to keep noise down between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Overall, our stay at the Blue Door was comfortable, and Carlos was an excellent host. The Blue Door was easy to reach from the Airport, and close to convienence stores that we needed to access. We were in El Paso for my granddaughters graduation, so we mostly were only there to shower and sleep! The Bathroom was clean and lovely. My only not so positive comment is that it was smaller than expected, but manageable. I would stay at the Blue Door again, without hesitation.
