"This is a great place to stay. The staff were very kind and welcoming. They even noticed it was my birthday one of the days I was staying there and got me a small cake to celebrate!"

"I spent several days at I Keu Ken, mostly because I was waiting to receive a money transfer. El Calafate is a nice enough town, but unless you have outings scheduled, it isn't worthy of more than a couple of days. In spite of that, I have great memories, because the staff at the hostel made me feel super welcome, and the hostel has plenty of places to hang out and read, relax, and/or visit with other travelers. It has a sort of hippie vibe. It isn't as modernized as some hostels - not a lot of...

Very helpful and friendly staff. We stayed over Christmas and Solares colleagues managed to sort out tours to all of the main attractions at the last minute. The location is ideal for the tours - you get picked up last and dropped off first, compared to the hotels in the centre of town, saving a lot of time.

I arrived solo at I Keu Ken Hostel on my first night in Argentina/Patagonia. Met great people there to hang out with. I was only there one night and it was definitely nice to arrive at a friendly hostel. The woman at the check-in desk (I forgot her name but she was from Costa Rica) was a gem. So nice, funny, and welcoming. She also made a dinner reservation for us at her friend's restaurant. He makes meals for local in his home! It was such a beautiful experience.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It is a little out of the way but we knew that and enjoyed the view and the serenity. The staff were pleasant and very helpful with food allergies. The wifi was intermittent but when asked the staff seemed to be able to fix it. We really recommend the restaurant Mirabelle opposite the entry to the nature reserve.
