"The Sofitel is perfectly located in the heart of the city adjacent to the Nile. The entertainment is such that you don't have to leave your hotel if you choose not too. The views of the Nile and sunset are perfect from the 3rd floor. The sunken tub is a dream after a long day of exploring the city. I would highly recommend and will stay here again."

The tours they organised for us were great and amazingly priced. They even organised a special itinerary just for us covering a number of things we wanted to see. The hotel is in downtown Cairo away from the big international tourist hotels, so you can get the real Egyptian experience! The hotel is a little tricky to find the first time and we would recommend getting the hotel to book you a car to make your arrival easy and stress free.
