Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen… etwa 2,5 km vom Strand in Egmond an Zee entfernt, aber den Weg konnte man gut mit einem Dünenspaziergang verbinden. Frühstück war für ein Hostel absolut ausreichend und abwechslungsreich. Selbst für Veganer gab es eine kleine Auswahl an Alternativen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gepflegt, draußen gab es einen Spielplatz und Sitzgelegenheiten. Parkplätze waren direkt vor der Tür ausreichend vorhanden. Im Vergleich zu meinen bisherigen Hostel-Aufenthalten sehr ruhig- trotz gleichzeitigem Aufenthalt einer Kinder-Hockemanschaft…

Unser erster Aufenthalt im Hostel hat uns sehr gut gefallen.Zentral gelegen, nettes Personal,Ausstattung einfach aber sehr sauber,leckeres Frühstück.Fahrradverleih im Haus sehr praktisch.

Hallo ! Begrüßung, Einweisung und Betreuung waren gut. Obwohl die Herberge jedoch als "renoviert" beworben wurde, empfanden wir sie als renovierungsbedürftig: Wir waren wohl während der wärmsten Tagen dieses Jahres dort, die Lüftungs-/Kühlungsmöglichkeiten waren echt schlecht / miserabel. Lüftung/Kühlung war nur über ein 1m x 1m großes Brett an der Fenster-/Glasfront (! zusätzliche Hitze !) möglich, Effekt = "0". Gäste stellten Mülleimer in die Türen, damit es Durchzug gab. So etwas geht unserer Meinung nach überhaupt nicht ! Weiterhin ist die Herberge nicht Allergikergeeignet - der bunte, dicke Teppich auf den Fluren ist dreckig/belastet. An dem Ausziehbett klebte ein Keks ! Ein Türscharnier war defekt, die Tür knarrte. Wasserhahn ließ sich nicht gut absperren. Leihfahrräder sind nicht zu empfehlen: Vergabe anhand von Schlüsselnummern, das Erste, was ich bekommen sollte, war überhaupt nicht vorhanden. Das Zweite wurde sodann in Begleitung einer Betreuerin ausgesucht, als ich losfahren wollte, musste ich zunächst die Kette neu auflegen. Bremmsen miserabel, Zug zersplissen. ... Also: Einige Verbesserungen sind dringend erforderlich ! Gratis Kaltgetränk (Wasser mit Limette, Minze und Zitronenmelisse) war lecker. Frühstück sehr gut. Für's Abendessen 16,50 € fanden wir zu teuer, wie Holland überhaupt überteuert ist, enttäuschend gegenüber früheren Besuchen. Also: Arbeitet an Mängelbeseitigungen und Verbesserungen ! Gut empfanden wir die Trennung von WC / Dusche / Waschbecken.

Prima hostel met heerlijk ontbijt, lekkere bedden

we hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad bij Stayokay Egmond aan den Hoef. De bedden lagen heerlijk! Wel jammer dat de douche maar een kleine straal had, en constant wisselde van temperatuur. Maar buiten dat, een erg net Hostel met een geweldig (hotelwaardig) ontbijt.

Hostel mit mehr Schatten als Licht

Zimmer winzig klein (Fünfbettzimmer, Familie mit drei Kindern). Fenster ist zum größeren Teil gar nicht und zum kleineren nur einen Spalt zu öffnen, nahezu unerträglich bei warmen Temperaturen. Kleiner Tisch mit zwei Hockern (für fünf Personen !). Hellhörig. Außengelände ansprechend und mit Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder. Personal mittelmäßig freundlich und bemüht. Frühstück ausreichend, Jugendherbergsniveau. Gute Lage für Strand, Dünen und Ausflüge. Mit Blick auf die Zimmerverhältnisse völlig überteuert und nicht weiterzuempfehlen.
