Our room was very clean and comfortable. Loved this property as it feels like you are out in the woods but the property is quite sizable. Buildings very nice, decorated beautifully for fall. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
Such a beautiful place to stay in Door County! The sunset view was spectacular every night. The kitchen in our room was perfect & we enjoyed the sauna. We highly recommend this resort!
Very good accommodations. Great bed, bedding, bathroom situation, shower!
Great to have living room, dining room, kitchenette. Kitchen not outfitted the best though. Good pool.
Hot tubs & pools were being emptied. We were not able to use them, in spite of the fact that the area was PACKED with thousands of visitors because of the fall foliage! We were counting on at least the hot tub. I believe that feature is probably included in the steep price we paid for our stay. Very disappointed with that. We would like a refund or at least a discount in price, for loss of the use of the hot tub & pool. Otherwise no problems. (3-night stay on weekend of 10/16-18/2026.)
We had a one bedroom condo- kitchen area and living room area. The bathroom was small/ very tight but we made it work. The resort was great 3 pools and bikeable or walkable to town. Less than a mile in a half- great location and the amenities were great
The property was very pretty, we had a great view of the lake. I feel there could be additional signage on the property ex: a sign on the buildings so we knew if we were in the correct building.
The only complain I have is that according to the pictures both rooms appeared to be on the same level and we were disappointed to discover that we ended up with a loft and one room off the main level. As were are all older it was hard to navigate the stairs, especially with suitcases and as we are all adults it was not private enough with the open loft area.
Clean, housekeeping available, kitchen fully stocked and had coffee, plenty of towels. Pools were clean and warm. Hot tub same. Restaurant was open and clean and everything was good
Quiet location. Doors to property lock and required room key to enter building which was a good security feature. Laundry on site and easy to use
The property is lovely and the walking trail behind the buildings is beautiful.
Check in is supposed to be 4 pm, but our room was not ready until 4:45. That, in combination with their strict warning about 10 AM checkout (penalties if you go over that time) left something of a bitter taste. They shouldn’t be able to have it both ways.
The unit was in ok shape. And quite comfy . But the sheets for the pullout sofa were dirty - had to call for clean ones - and our daughter found a cockroach (dead) in her bath towel, which freaked her out. Hmmmm.
The Embers restaurant, which was quite good, is only open on weekends. Didn’t know that up front. No where on property to have breakfast on weekdays in the fall.
I think they are understaffed and the facility is showing some wear. But still a nice place to stay.
We arrived a little early for check in and our room wasn't quite ready but we got our room keys anyway. The gentleman at the front desk was really nice! We waited about 15-20 minutes for a text with our room number but we didn't mind because we were early. Our room was clean and comfortable. The view was breathtaking! The restaurant Ember was amazing also! The staff and food were wonderful! The hot tub and pool were clean and the perfect temperature! There were plenty of clean towels at the hot tub and pool locations. The other guests were nice as well, there were 3 weddings and a family reunion there that weekend, everyone we spoke to was nice and friendly. We definitely will stay here again! We loved how the resort was friendly to everyone, couples and families alike.

Liked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
The unit was nicely appointed but there was some rust or dirt near the tub, the sheet set seemed soiled, the dishwasher was annoyingly loud, along with the bathroom fan—and the folks on the 2nd floor overhead could be heard as they walked. That being said, the grounds are lush, though a bit unkempt, and , best of all, the view fantastic both in the drive in and walking about the grounds. This is mid-August, and the resort was busy, with parking somewhat full
The Landmark property/location is second to none, especially if you chose a room with a waterfront view. The only negative is that the buildings are getting old and the upkeep seems to be moving very slowly.
Condo in Door County accessible to Egg Harbor, Fish Creek and more. Clean facilities with friendly and helpful staff. Well equipped kitchen for making meals, but need to bring all your own food, spices, etc. A few curious ants made their way inside, but that was all for critters. Beautiful water views outside and a small walking trail available to visitors. Very nice exercise room and several pools for recreation on site.
Gorgeous grounds a view. Very comfortable bed. Room 1109 was somewhat dated and kitchen appliances were very old. Coffee maker didn’t work. Staff very friendly!
Beautiful views of water and woods. Nice pools on both sides of our condo. Upstairs shower did not work but we made do with downstairs shower. Small master bedroom, bed vs. door = difficult to close. All in all, still very nice. Quaint and peaceful.
Not property's fault but we witnessed 2 drunk guys walk back from Ember, get into their car in the lot by our building and back into a parked car and speed off!!!
