The night person was awesome and friendly he was new and didn’t know the protocol asked us to check with the manager in the morning. She got a little defensive about it . Given the age of the building it is to be expected to have some quirks may I suggest new caulking around the tubs , check the tv reception in the rooms provide an avail channel guide , if you are booking and want to avoid 70 steep steps to your room request a mid level or lower floor to save the legs . I liked the retro feel of the bedrooms but can see why other may say it's dated. It does have a lot of stairs and no elevator (as advertised) but this was not an issue for us. Staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
