Hyvä apartementos

Yövyin kohteessa kolme yötä. Lämmitys ei ollut päällä joten hieman viileä oli huoneistossa. Sänky ja peitto olivat aivan mahtavat mutta liinavaatteet oli pesty todella tuoksuvalla pesuaineella joka hieman haittasi vaikka haju herkkä en olekaan. Huoneisto sopii niin perheille, sinkuille kuin pariskunnille. Sijainniltaan hyvä sillä juna-asemalle sekä raitiovaunu pysäkille kävelee muutamassa minuutissa sekä keskustaan pääsee kävellen. Läheisyydessä paljon hyviä ruokapaikkoja ja ruokakauppoja.

Great for longer stays... not one night!

All good and excellent communication from property owner. Only downside was the £30 requested for "housekeeping" that was not clear on the booking site. Would recommend that that this is included in the room rate as it's a game changer if looking for accommodation for just one night..... misleading!

Only go if you like to stand in the rain

I booked a room here through hotels.com for myself, husband and friend for a night away in Edinburgh. The first thing that upset me was there is no lobby or reception or anyone to greet you on arrival. The front door was locked so we had to wait outside in the rain from 5pm - 6pm. I called the lady whom manages the room, and she told us she would email me the passcode to get into the apartments. (I'm still waiting for said email two days on). So after many phonecalls, another guest arriving (non English speaking tourist) and another hour wait, she finally gave us the passcode over the phone. The rooms were tidy in themselves. But, the main room double bed, very low to the ground, soft mattress, woke up with a sore back. Only one T.V channel showing. There is a notice warning tenants, that any mess left behind will incur a 30 pound service charge. We washed all our cups and put them away, stripped the beds, didn't leave any trace of dirt, and after just one night staying in the place they still charged us the full 30 pound. I am still waiting for the security deposit, which has left me out of pocket, and after ringing the lady in charge to ask when I will receive it, was taken aback by her rudeness on the phone. All in all, a night at the roxburghe would have been the same price without having to clean up after ourselves, in a better part of Edinburgh, and without dealing with rude, obnoxious staff!! Could not recommend this place to anyone.

Kan varmt anbefales :-) Har alt hvad man kan ønske sig! Fint køkken, dejligt soveværelse med masser af garderobeplads, stort badeværelse, stue med to sofaer og tv, vaskemaskine, tørretumbler, opvaskemaskine - og så var der rent og pænt og kvarteret var perfekt for os.

Apartment in a Church

Working in Edinburgh 4 days and had to book somewhere on short notice so tried this, as seemed a bit different. There are maybe 9 apartments in the same building. Bedroom & bathroom on ground floor, kitchen/lounge on floor above. Cosy, clean, enough space for 1 or 2 people. The odd floor scuff here and there, plus tap fitting could be renewed but nothing worth complaining about. Location – just around corner from Haymarket so plenty places to go or dine. Overall – good apartment, would stay again. Recommended.
