To be a hostel, it's pretty clean, and they clean once per day. I like that you can cook your own meals. Guests respect everyone's own time, including being quiet in the room no matter the time of day. It was quiet to sleep in the "pods" and I appreciated the hot water! (as most travelers do). This location is close to attractions and is walkable to National Art Gallery, National Museum, and even up to Edinburgh Castle. The staff were excellent.
