I would recommend this hostel to anyone needing to stay in the heart of The Royal Mile. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five is because their wifi went out while I was staying in their lower level which has no connection to mobile networks at all. Leonardo Royal Hotel Edinburgh
Excellent location just start of the royal mile, a comfortable hotel with a nice and filling breakfast, a warm and helping staff. A good place to stay if you are in Edinburgh and want to stay in the old town!

For this being a 4-star hotel and for the price I paid, it left a lot to be desired. Faux leather furniture had extensive scuff marks. Black mold in the shower area.
