"The room was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed it the moment we pulled up for valet service, to our complimentary beverage to check out. Our room was on the 9th floor and we had a great view. It was a such a romantic staycation! "

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The quick access to the River Walk is not only convenient, but beautiful as well. I cannot recommend the Hotel Contessa enough."

"I have told everyone back home how wonderful this hotel is. It is beautiful and clean. It smells divine. The Alamo is on one side of the hotel and the shopping mall is on the other side. Riverwalk is just a few minutes walk. Whatever cuisine you are in the mood for is a short walk. The valet parking is very convenient, although it took me a while to figure out how to get to it because the gps takes you to a section that is shut down due to now maintenance work on the Alamo. I love, love, love The Menger Hotel. "
