"The Hotel was a bit out of the way-end of town but not inconvenient per sec. The staff was very kind and attentive. The pool was great. I had it all to myself every morning at 6AM. the Harbor view was lovely"
"Great property! Not super convenient to pull in when first arriving and wanting to check in, but it was a quick check in and the parking was super convenient to the hotel. Great location for restaurants and bars and walkable to all of downtown halifax."

"The first time I stayed at Chocolate Lake was when I was bringing my son to University. This time, returning, was for his graduation and the experience was the same. The property has very good amenities, a free coffee, hot chocolate, espresso etc. machine in the lobby which is accessible 24/7, and a full breakfast is also included. The shower pressure was good, the room was clean and well laid out. The staff were helpful and the hotel sits on a beautiful lake. Chocolate Lake was my first choice this time because of the experience I first had and I was pleasantly surprised that it had not changed.
I would definitely recommend this property to others and I hope that it remains the same. Thank you for a lovely stay. "
