"Hotel was fine.Clean and well maintained. Thought that the reception staff, not all of them, could have been a little better informed about accessibility to some of the places of interest for Thomas Hardy fans"

The Helyar Arms

The Helyar Arms

10/10 Excellent
"A cut above a pub with rooms and without pretension. We had a large comfortable room and helpful service. The pub was busy and lively, not raucous. Dinner was a normal.offering plus outstanding specials - pheasant burger, grey mullet in chimchurri. Excellent. Substantial breakfast. Very reasonable prices and a very beautiful village (photo from room). Boss Lady does a pretty good job!"

Montigo Resorts, Somerset

Montigo Resorts, Somerset

8/10 Good
"The hotel is lovely, very attractive main entrance and lobby. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and overall it was very clean in the room and public areas. The spa facilities were really good, we loves the courtyard with the large hot tub. Only small grumbles about the room were the lack of curtains and no decaf coffee, the bed was super comfy and the bathroom was modern and clean. The bistro food and hot drinks are very overpriced for what they are, a salad with a very small amount of topping were £15 and a small cup of coffee was £5. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would go back."

The Manor Hotel by Greene King Inns

The Manor Hotel by Greene King Inns

10/10 Excellent
"Nice manor-style hotel with well equipped rooms and bathroom, excellent English-Style and other breakfast options, nice bar and outside dining areas. The rooms are old -style but confortable with an excellent price-quality ratio. The only drawback was the absence of AC during our mid-july hot summer days stay but the ventilator + opened window was OK to sleep well anyways. Also well located in the center of Yeovil for restaurants and easy parking on site all-around the many buildings. Very recommended to explore the Fleet Air Arm or Haynes museums or a day trip to the tails museum in Bovington!"
