"Resort was lovely. Food was more than disappointing unfortunately. That said, it was beautiful with amenities and activities galore. It was my first time in DR, first time at an excellence resort. We had a great time!"

"Overall, my girlfriend & i had a really good experience at the Riu Republica. Food was pretty good from breakfast to dinner. Our drink of choice at the swim up was a caipirinha (rum,lime,mint, & sugar cane over ice). The resort is known for its party & live entertainment personality, which they owe us nothing for, BUT keep this in mind when choosing your room. While the party scene is smack in the middle of the resort where everything is located & very close to the beach, if you're looking for some sense of tranquility, you might want a room at the other end of the resort, away from everything pretty much. The jerk chicken station lived up to the hype in all of the reviews we read & the buffet staff were very friendly & helpful throughout our stay. The main swim up bar pool (closest to the buffet) is where the action is. Great music, good vibes & waiters continuously at your service while the staff interaction will keep you very entertained as well. I would certainly recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a good, inexpensive, party themed introduction to the Dominican Republic like ourselves! Cheers!"

"Buen servicio al cliente y los cuarto amplios y muy bien cuidados. La parte no tan buena es que desde de las 10PM ya no había nada de comer en el hotel excepto por servicio a la habitación."

"No me gustó la atención del personal no t atendía y atendía diferente a otras personas ,demasiado mosquito terrible y le falta animación lo único bueno fue el personal q trabaja para expedía Luis nos atendió muy buen y siempre estuvo al pendiente de lo q se necesitara ,el trasporte q te movía dentro del hotel no paraba No recomendaría este hotel."
