"Good experience, staff are very helpful, for a business trip it’s great value, I paid for Dinner, B&B for two nights. Room was clean and housekeeping changed towels and made bed on second day which I wasn’t expecting. Good facilities just needs some tlc in some areas. Overall typical Green King property and no complaints."

"Room of reasonable size, quiet and pleasant view. Pub light meal good and Sea Shanty singers a bonus.Good position to enjoy Lynmouth and convenient for the excellent Cliff Railway to see Lynton. enjoyed the Norther Walk and the Valley of Rocks. Very friendly people - made to feel welcome, thank you."

"The hotel is well overdue for a makeover, the staff, however, are excellent, although they forgot to service our room on a 2 night stay. The room was extremely disappointing, being both small & very, very scruffy. The position of the hotel is absolutely perfect for exploring Ilfracombe, if staying again will book direct with the hotel and ask for specific rooms, in all a very enjoyable visit, apart from the accommodation, the breakfast was excellent! Mark and Shirley"
