The staff were really friendly, easy parking (not cheap..), great happy hour prices, clean and cosy room, good shower, good location. We slept well here even though the fire alarm went off at 7am. Near to a great traditional eatery also.

Found hairs that were not ours when we lifted up the pillows and blankets, which was really gross. Floor didn’t look like it had been vacuumed in a long time. Really noisy and hot rooms. We had a double bed and a fold out bed style room. The double bed had 2 single quilts as opposed to a double. We had 2 bath towels between 3 of us. We were told that the hotel served food until 11pm but on 2 of our 3 nights there they couldn’t put any food on as there were only 2 staff working. The 2 ladies that were mostly manning the reception and bar area were superb though and couldn’t do enough for us. Just a shame about the hotels planning and staffing.
