City centre hotel, staff were very accommodating when we arrived early. Chargeable parking nearby, but none at the hotel. 100m past hotel on the same side of the road is best value parking @€14 (Sep. 24) Rooms clean and comfortable, I like a softer bed and that's exactly what I got. If you want a German beer experience, Schumacher's opposite is a must try.

Convenient city centre hotel at a reasonable price

Central unpretentious hotel five minutes from central station 10 minutes walk to the old town. On main road but not noisy efficient concierge service check in no problem, room reasonable size warm modern facilities but no tea or coffee making. Breakfast plentiful and a good selection of hot and cold items. Only criticism the bed was a little low but not a big problem

Very nice hotel, 10 min walk frim train station and 15-20 min walk to the old town. Only thing I had a problem with was the low illumination in the hallways and the room. Had to use the flashlight on my phone to see the keyhole to open tge door.

The worst I have ever stayed in. Left after one day even with being booked for the week. No kettle no fridge one bed for 2 occupants extremely basic accommodations at a high price where you expect more. I went to a different much better hotel after just one evening stay. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Quirky Düsseldorf hotel

Hotel Lindenhof is a quirky little hotel quite suitable for travellers on a budget. The tariff includes a buffet breakfast which is served in a separate room. Our stay coincided with the warm weather of the 2022 European summer. The hotel is not air conditioned. Our room was hot and stuffy for most of the time. There was no fan. The lighting was very poor and made conditions difficult for any work. The welcome when we arrived was indifferent to say the least but we noticed the staff ranged from quite friendly to very formal. Hotel Lindenhof is close to the Ost Strasse U Bahn station (one stop from Hauptbahnhof). It’s walkable from Hbf but the cobblestone footpaths can make walking with luggage a little challenging. There is a very good self service laundry almost next door to the hotel.

Das Hotel ist zentral in Düsseldorf gelegen, sehr in der Nähe vom Hauptbahnhof. Das Personal ist freundlich. Als ich ankam, war leider der Aufzug kaputt, weshalb ich meine Koffer über eine steile Treppe in den zweiten Stock schleppen musste. Ist vielleicht einfach nur Pech gewesen. Dass das Zimmer keine Klimaanlage hatte, bei sengender Hitze im Sommer, hat leider nicht geholfen. Bis spät in der Nacht war bei den Temperaturen an Schlafen nicht zu denken. Das Bett war klein und die Matratze ziemlich durchgelegen. Klar muss man bei einem Budget-Hotel auch Abstriche beim Komfort machen. Das Frühstück war ok. Am ersten Tag, als das Hotel sehr voll war, war allerdings in der letzten Stunde nicht mehr viel übrig. Am zweiten Tag war es leerer und das Essen hat für alle gereicht.

For the price no complaints Location was good easy walk from the station Tip head to Konrad Adenauer Platz from the station building exit the station head left to the station click tower face away from the station the street in front of you should be Bismarckstraße head down that till you hit Oststraße turn left and carry on down the left side till you get to the lindenhof hotel takes less that 10 minutes Room was quiet clean bathroom ok location great lots of restaurants around breakfast was ok nothing spectacular but value for money definitely Would I stay there again yea

Man wurde sofort vom hilfsbereiten Personal an der Rezeption freundlich empfangen. Zimmer hat eine sehr schöne Größe und war im Badezimmer mit Handtücher, Seife, Duschgel und Fön ausgestattet. Das Bett war für mich genau richtig, nicht zu weich oder zu hart. Frühstücksbüfett ließ fast keine Wünsche offen, reichliche Auswahl.
