We were attending a trade show so it was a short ride to the convention Center Messe Dusseldorf, about 20 euros max. Super clean, staff were super friendly. Greeted at the end of each day with free beer and entrees. Nice touch after walking around all day. Restaurant Juliano was really good as well. Only had one meal there but it was delicious and the local beer they served was perfect. Rather than fix the problem, the hotel did not bother. Their only solution was to hand out bottles of water occasionally and fans, which did nothing to solve the problem. The room was probably upwards of 90 degrees as the outside temperature was extremely hot during the stay. This made for extremely difficult sleeping and working conditions. There was no real remedy offered and no compensation for extremely poor conditions. I would never stay there again. Otherwise, the hotel was an average property -- not terrible but it wouldn't impress you. The best part of the stay was the breakfast, which was pretty good. The lack of air conditioning and sauna-like conditions, with very little concern from the staff for elderly or heat-sensitive people in the party, made everyone in the group never want to stay there again. 2/10 - do not recommend.
