It’s centrally located in Dushore Pa. Nearby attractions are Worlds End State park , Ricketts Glen State park , The Haystack trails & numerous waterfalls in & around Sullivan County . The State Game Lands are just a few miles away. If fishing is your thing there's Loyalsock & Muncy creek , Kast Pond is only 1.7 miles away ( Pa fishing license required). There’s so much to do that is within a half hour drive . The cabin itself offers a covered back deck with comfortable chairs overlooking the wooded back yard , views & relaxing water sounds from the Koi pond . Inside the living room has beautiful stonework surrounding a usable woodstove , open kitchen & dining area with a sliding door leading to a front deck - Full bathroom & Master bedroom with a queen size bed are also on main level . The 2nd bedroom is an upstairs loft with a queen bed , a twin bed & the 2nd bathroom . There's a deck off of the loft area overlooking the grounds & the Koi pond . The sounds from the pond are sure to put you in a relaxed mood ( sorry in the colder months the pond waterfall is not operational ). The cabin was tastefully decorated, cozy and clean. Everything we needed was provided. We really enjoyed cozying up to the woodstove and watching for the deer stop by for corn. We enjoyed the campfire and playing games in the evenings and hiking at nearby World's End and Rickett's Glen State Parks. The house was perfect for our needs and we loved how quiet it was and in the woods. Our kids really liked feeding the fish! We spent time in both Ricketts Glen and Worlds End and even saw a bear cub on the drive. Karen was great and even reached out to us one morning about an activity she thought our kids would like. Beautiful, clean house that served as home base for our hiking trips in the Loyalsock Forest, World's End State Park and at Rickett's Glen. After a day of hiking, we were able to relax and enjoy the property's wooded lot. Had many 'Deer' friends to observe, an added bonus! It is very clean and really cozy. The property is kept up very well and nicely decorated. We would like to see the television lowered or angled down so it would be at a better viewing angle.
