Ruby`s House an Executive Rental and we book it by the month.
This Historic Downtown House was built in 1924. Freshly remodeled, it has all new plumbing, heating, electrical, bathroom, kitchen, tile, wood, cabinets, rock counter tops, ... etc! This Old House is Brand New!
The Ruby’s House is a two bedroom, one bath house, it is private, and in the front of the property. In the back is a small office that is used by the owners.
Just a note on the current Covid 19 situation; We Sanitize our vacation rentals according to the CDC guidelines.

The kitchen has amazing creamy stone counter tops that wrap around into the dinning room. Everything you need for family and friends to COOK!
Luxury bedrooms with new Tempurepedic style mattresses and nice linens. There is a king sized in the master and queen in the second bedroom. The bathroom is located between the bedrooms and has all new marble and subway tile surround with a large curved shower/tub for deep and relaxing soaky baths.
There are great hiking trails right from the home.
Guests have access to the front of the property including the front yard, private off steer parking, private entrance, the whole 2 bedroom 1 bath house. In the back of the property is a room that we rent separately as well as a car pot and shed that are not included with Ruby’s House.
We do live in Durango and we are very available to our guests. Please message us anytime if you need anything at all.
Located on 8th Avenue and College Drive is is so close to everything!: Co-Op Grocery Store, lots of restaurants and coffee shops, Horse Gulch Trail System, and only seven blocks from Main Avenue.
This location is so wonderful because you are right downtown and below the college so you can walk to everything you need.

Overall, we enjoyed the house. The bed was very comfortable in the house had everything we needed. We had to keep the heat running in the living room and the fireplace on to keep it warm because there is no house here in those rooms. But that worked. We would definitely stay here again.
This house worked out well for our month stay. We used it as a base for many incredible day trips around Durango. The kitchen is amazing, new top grade appliances, beautiful sink. The bath is also newly remodeled with a great shower. We stayed during an extremely hot July and the one AC unit wasn’t keeping up well with the heat. One call to the host and we were immediately supplied with two window fans that did the trick. Very happy with the response from our host. The home is walking distance to the historic district which we walked to nearly every day and the Animas River trail is also walking distance and so beautiful.
We enjoyed our stay very much? The place was fully remodelled with new appliances. The house is located just a few blocks from Main Avenue. There are several restaurants nearby. Also, just a half block away is a natural foods co-op where you can buy many basic necessities.
Holly Jean, the owner, is accessible and willing to help if you have any issues. She seems to be a very kind person and is very helpful!
