"we have stayed here more than once but this time we were not happy the pool wasn't open, they said it was under repairs, this should have been told to me when I called and I asked about the pool and they said yes, we have a pool, they should have said yes, we have a pool but its not open, not right, we will probably not stay there next year on our way to va beach, sad to say"

"This property is a wonderful place to stay if looking for beautiful sun rises and sunsets, beautiful views, and quiet, peaceful surroundings. The home was spacious and wonderful. We loved the central room, containing a spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room (open floor plan). This room allowed everyone to be together and enjoy home cooked meals and lively conversation. We spent a lot of time on the porch overlooking the river, barbecuing, and spending quality family time together."

"This place was perfect for my needs. A clean, safe place, to rest my head and a way above average staff. The staff were so kind and helpful. I wouldn’t think twice about booking with this place again. The ONLY issue we had was that the pool is not open. Not a deal breaker but it was not listed as closed and so we were expecting it to be open. We survived, lol."

"This is a comfortable, cozy, well equipped house. The real gems are the outdoor living spaces. The photos don’t do justice to the serene views of the river from both the screened in porch and the large patio."

"Went to VA with our family(from Boston area) for a mini family reunion in the Tappahannock/Warsaw area. Stay @ Rapp was a great location. For exercise, we walked to the beach or used the golf cart on occasion. Community was welcoming and friendly. Neighbor next door was extremely helpful. House was clean and was as the pictures represented. We would stay again."
