"The hotel was beautiful and comfortable but we were a little warm the whole time and Cork was not walkable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had many choices. I would stay here again but ideally not during a heat wave!"
"Room was spacious this was after we refused first room 409 because window looked out onto a brick wall we eventually had 412 which better but bathroom needs refurbishing and water pressure was very low"

"This hotel is beautiful, we only stay for one night but it was pleasant. Easy walk to restaurants and very clean. Staff are very nice. The launch is very nice and enjoyable music to relax."
"We liked the location. Quiet but close to everything. University College Cork was a few blocks away…lovely campus. Fitzgerald Park was not far…great playground, stopped to watch a Cricket match at the Cork County Cricket Club that is right next to the park. Short walk to the city centre. The hotel restaurant is great. Highly recommend. "
"This room was perfect for myself. The bathroom was very nice and clean. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but nothing that would stop me from staying again!"
"The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. From the front desk clerk giving recommending places nearby to eat, to the friendly breakfast room team and the extra assistant at check out. These were some of the best hotel staff I have encountered on my extended 3 month trip around Europe.
The room was nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable.
The only concerns we had was the neighborhood was a bit rough and the walk to Oliver Plunket Street using the back alley (per our GPS instructions) for dinner was somewhat concerning. We took the walk back along the quayside by the bus terminal and that had better lighting and felt somewhat safer.
I would recommend staying here. "
