"The street entrance by Glasgow Central Station is rather tatty and misleading, however, when you take the lift to the top floor of the building which is where the actual hotel is located it is amazing. Bright, clean and welcoming, with a sitting room with refreshments courtesy of the hotel to welcome you. "

"What a great location! Close to a ton of great west-side restaurants, the botanical gardens, and the subway. And the nightly rate was excellent. Sure, the hotel has seen better days, but I was mostly happy with my room. Only wish it had a refrigerator."

"Great hotel but the layout of the property is very confusing. Could really have benefited from an internal map of where everything was. Very strange layout. Food was lovely in The Grill, Tavern and The Vista. All the staff in the restaurants were fine although we ordered drinks and they were totally forgotten. The bar staff were a little slow. We had an issue with no hot water in our room from 5.30pm until the next morning. Would recommend with some small tweaks to enhance the experience "
