There's even a sweet kitten to play with! They even stored my bag for a few hours after I checked out. There is room for improvement however - some of the food was very greasy and tasted disgusting, another dish consisting solely of fruit was delicious. The restaurant staff could be a bit quicker in approaching the table to offer service as I had to call several times before they came. While it's located close to Dumaguete's city center, it's still quite stowed a bit distant to it, which is great if you're looking for some place quite and away from the highway. This also means there's less socializing involved, and a bit of luck is required if you wish to commute to and from Gabby's without renting a motorbike. The room and continental breakfast is standard and reasonable for the price you pay for. Overall, a good choice if you need a decent sleep before your next long solo trip. ##### Marc Stayed 1 night in Apr 2019 ### 4/10 Poor #### CARP 29 Dec 2018 Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort 隣が木工所なので朝からとてもうるさくてストレスがたまる。レストランは朝7時から、と言ったのに7時過ぎに行くと店内は薄暗くカウンターに行ってもスタッフはまったく無視して、まだだと言う。朝食もパンだけなので目玉焼きとベーコンを注文するといつまでたっても来ないのでパンだけ食べてスタッフに告げ、帰ろうとすると厨房のカウンターにそれは出し忘れて置いてあり、冷たくなったものを持ってきた。最終日にフェリー乗り場までバイクで送ってやる、と言うから、200ペソを払い朝9時の約束をしたのに、7時50分に早くしろ、と言ってドアをノックしてきた。自分の都合である。おかげで、フェリー乗り場の人ごみの中で長時間待たされた。 ##### CARP Stayed 2 nights in Dec 2018 ### 4/10 Poor #### CARP 27 Dec 2018 Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort ホテルから15分ほど先の幹線道路に出なければトライシクルがつかまらない。朝食はコーヒーとトーストのみ。どこのホテルもランドリー設備有りとなっているけれど、この意味は？。シャワーも水か湯かはっきりと明記して欲しい。朝と夜の水のシャワーは日本人にはつらいのでは。ハウスキーピングも毎日とあったが1週間滞在して1回だけ、それもこちらがクレームを言ったから。このクラスのホテルは設備や環境とかはある程度想定しているが、スタッフしだいですべて解決するけど、どうして笑顔ひとつ出来ないのか、大きな声で歌ったりしゃべってばかり、あやまちは謝らないし横柄な態度で返してくる。ハイクラスのホテルでは経験した事があまり無いし有り得ない事。カネのかからない接客、ホスピタリティをもっと教育する気はないのか。レベルが低すぎる。 ##### CARP Stayed 5 nights in Dec 2018 ### 6/10 Okay #### Ao 15 Nov 2018 #### Good location It’s good for staying several nights on the road before islands. The room itself was tiny and the beds super hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast was only toast, hardly worth it. Would not stay here again. It should have been nice if there was a hot shower installed as travellers like me need a long, warm bath. The food was a bit pricey although servings were designed for big appetites. I was expecting for more choices for breakfast. Although the common area was fine to hang out in. Room was marginal in my view. The breakfast included was like.... toast, and instant coffee. I rented a motorbike, or, it was too far from where anything was going on. Good place to leave your bag if you were going to Apo for a day. No water even provided in room.
