I booked as we were at the NEC for Crufts over two days. This hotel allowed dogs (for a small fee) and there was no problem with them there, in fact some were relaxing with their owners in the bar and lounge area. The rooms were comfy, decor a little tired but clean, good facilities, restaurant and ...

Stayed a few times now. No issues until most recent stay when we found room did not have its secondary glazing. Meant a noisy night as the room looked out onto the main road. Lovely old building which used to be the coach house for Himley Hall. Good bar and restaurant as well.

Just three miles from the M5, and with excellent rail links and Birmingham Airport just over half an hour away, Dudley is an easily accessible location for business meetings and conferences. Many businessmen pass through the town, and the majority of hotels have started offering facilities and amenities to accommodate their busy guests. From plush, well-served four and five star hotels to simple, unassuming stop-overs, there are plenty of hotels in Dudley to choose from.
Many of the business hotels in Dudley offer excellent facilities for those hosting conferences or meetings. Hotels such as the Village Hotel Birmingham Dudley and the Station Hotel have dedicated meeting rooms, and the potential to hire little extras like overhead projectors, screens and free WiFi. Hotels such as these are convenient for delegates, allowing them to retire to their rooms without having to drive. In addition, using a Dudley business hotel means that networking doesn’t have to stop when the conference is over. Instead, it can continue over a leisurely meal in the restaurant or a drink in the bar.
Dining can be an important aspect of business. Treating a business guest or your team to a sumptuous dinner can be a great boost for morale. While there are places to eat in Dudley, hotels such as the Quality Hotel Dudley have their own on-site restaurants in which guests can be entertained and those out-of-hours deals sealed.
However, hotels aren’t always used for conferences. For many businessmen, they can simply be a comfortable place to sleep or catch up on work before hitting the road to the next leg of their schedule. For those who want an unassuming pit-stop, but with facilities such as WiFi, a restaurant and a bar, hotels such as the Himley Country Hotel offer pleasant, relaxing surroundings, but with everything required to check e-mails or type up an itinerary or two.
Business hotels in Dudley are warm and welcoming and offer a number of advantages to the traditional conference hall or business centre. With facilities such as free parking and morning coffee, delegates and businessmen can approach a new working day refuelled and refreshed.
