This property is something else! It is extremely spacious, tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. But as awesome as the indoor space is, the real winner here was the outdoor patio! We loved drinking wine and playing cards while overlooking the sea and the old town. We also enjoyed a dip in the hot tub! Our stay felt very relaxing and luxurious. We had some fresh fruit waiting for us which was a nice touch. The host was very quick in responding to any questions we had and accommodated our request in storing our bags for a couple hours post check out time which we were very grateful for as it gave us an opportunity to explore a bit longer. We loved our stay here and already recommended it to several friends planning their trip to Dubrovnik.

If you have large luggage (think checked bags or oversized carryon sizes plus backpacks) you may not want to stay in old town. You can’t drive in there and we had to bring our 3 suitcase (one over 60 pounds) up and down about 12 flights of steep stairs. Also, there is ZERO signage of this unit and found it impossible to find. No front desk help or guaranteed courier service offered.

Shanti was a beautiful place to stay. Very cute and clean in the heart of Oldtown Dubrovnik. It is close to shopping, restaurants, and tours. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there and we recommend it to anyone going to Dubrovnik! PS, I would have your Uber/Taxi drop you off on the main street so you can minimize the number of stairs you have to climb/descend while carrying luggage.

Our apartment was perfect: very clean inside, two bathrooms, everything worked perfect, beds very comfortable, inside the ancient walls and easy to get to everything. The only minor issues were first entering the steps up were dirty and then the door lock was fussy. But then walking in was perfect and I have no problem giving 5 stars.
