Breakfast was good but buffet dinner not so. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Bus stop was only few minutes’ walk away but always difficult to board.

Clean, good sized rooms with wifi and AC. They'll arrange a shuttle if needed to and from the airport. Several food options within 2 or 3 blocks, though they may be u steep hills. The only thing I'd have liked was to have a fridge in the room, or even a vending machine for a cold drink

The room was fine, but the shower stall was inconveniently small and hot/cold water erratic. The walk from the hotel to a convenience store, shops and restaurants was along a the road with no footpath

Overall it was good. Not so far from bus n. 4 and 6 stops which leads directly to the old town. Beds are super comfy. It's clean and the most important staff are friendly and they allowed us to leave our luggage for 5 days until we come back which we appreciate a lot

Stayed at Hotel Ivka for a week with my partner. It was a lovely stay, the staff were helpful and efficient. The hotel is really well maintained and spotless clean which was great to see. Breakfast had a great selection and i looked forward to it each day. The only thing missing to make it all perfect was that unfortunately there is no fridge in the rooms. The stay exceeded our expectations and i would definitely stay again.

Ivka was more like a hostel type hotel than hotel. The furniture was old and cheap and the toilet and genarl bathroom items were cheap and uncomfortable. Although the space was big in room and bathroom, it made us feel we had a private hostel room. Not at all what I expected.

There are a lot of five star hotels in Dubrovnik and they are quite pricey. If that isn't your thing, or, more likely, if you are on a budget, then I would recommend Hotel Ivka. It is a solid choice: clean, if somewhat basic rooms, comfortable beds, a bright and pleasant ambiance, and a decent, good value breakfast built into the (affordable) price. Some rooms have beautiful views (ask for that). Location is not bad: a 10-15 minute walk into the main pedestrian street in Lapad and a 15-20 minute walk to Sunset Beach. City walls easily accessible by #6 bus or else a taxi ride (hotel can call a cab or you can Uber).

No problem with parking; front desk not too friendly but informative enough how to get to the Old City of Grad; staff during breakfast were friendly and helpful; the food was great. The room was clean. It was false advertising on the website on Expedia, checkout time was 12noon but front desk called at 11:20am, making sure we are not staying another night & insisted the checkout time was 11am that was frustrating for us when we were relaxing after breakfast, now was being hurried up for the checkout.

There is absolutely no sound insulation. I was waking up several times during the night when other people were coming back from parties. I also could perfectly hear how other people were taking shower in their rooms.

A very pleasant place to stay
We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Ivka in Dubrovnik. Check in was simple, and as we were a little early, he checked, and allowed us to gain access to the room since it was ready. Our room was extremely spacious, and very comfortable. Everything worked that needed to work, and we were very happy with the room, though it was a bit dated. One note: Be sure to take your own shampoo and conditioner. There is a soap dispenser at the sink and another in the shower, but the shower one is gel not shampoo. #hadfuzzyhair We ate at the dinner buffet and were extremely pleased with the quality and variety of the food, as well as the service of the waiters. The breakfast buffet was amazing for its variety and quantity. I can’t imagine there was much missing; soy milk was offered as an alternative to cow’s milk. We chose to walk to Old Town Dubrovnik, which is 3km each way. The stroll was pleasant. A taxi would be an option though it looks as though the bus system is well organized. Overall: splendid! We would stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Location.. location.. location
Hotel location is great for both walking (27 mins) and taking bus #6 (10 mins on the bus) to old town. The bus station is only 3 mins walk from the hotel. There are several good restaurants within 5 mins walking from hotel. Hotel breakfast is tasty and offers a large variety of selections. We definitely will stay here again.

1. Toilet area in bathroom smelled like urine. Contacted staff and they agreed with odor and only sprayed an air freshener around area. 2. Air conditioner cooled room very poorly and staff said unit was working properly and left situation at that. I'm not one to complain but I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody

Stayed here 2 nights. We felt hotel reception staff was not that friendly. We did not get maid service because no one told us if you leave the key card in the room slot ( we had 2 key cards) a light will indicate you're in the room and the maid will not come in. After we complained about the room not getting maid service hotel reception person said it would get taken care of when we're out that evening. When we got back the room had not been properly serviced ( bed not made, bathroom still not cleaned). We complained again and they did give us a discount on the room rate which was nice (expensive room). I think one could probably find another hotel around same price or little more and be much more satisfied. Just sayin
