Very unique and charming historic old log property. We stayed on the main floor off of the lobby (room 13) and it was a very large room with a king bed and the most unusual log headboard. Everything was clean and well kept. Stay here if you appreciate rustic charm. We definitely would go back there.
There was no one working the desk when we got there but they left notes and we were able to get into our room. The rooms were great. We wish the lighting in the lobby had been better. We tried to sit around and play cards and it was just too dark.

Has a cozy western feel. Room was large and beds comfortable. Only drawback is the sound from the stairs was loud when other guests walked by. It woke me up in the morning.
Everything was great aside from none of the rooms having air conditioning. I wasn't too comfortable leaving my windows open all night, but not a deal breaker. I'd definitely go back.
Cabin was nice and quiet. Good location. Unfortunately the sink was clogged and drained very slowly when we arrived. When I went to check out, a lady said BYE! That was check out. So I told her about the clogged sink and she said Oh I thought I had that fixed. Obviously not. Just found her to be a little obnoxious. No thanks for staying or anything of that sort. Just BYE!

Charming decor and conveniently located. I would recommend booking a cabin over a lodge room. Our room was literally 4 feet from the reservation office and at the base of the stairs. So lots of noise with people going up and down and not very private.
The people were very nice. The cabin was cute, but dated. Very easy walking distance to downtown.
The property as a whole was rundown a bit and unmowed/trimmed. The tv didn’t work and when we told the gentleman at the front desk, he responded with “sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t.” The AC unit didn’t work. The toilet was child size and ran if you didn’t jiggle the handle. Would’ve still given 5 stars but the bed was awful. We got almost no sleep the first night and considered cutting our trip short. After two nights in that soft taco bed, we were sore and grouchy and couldn’t wait to leave. If they invested in the mattresses, I’d gladly pay a bit more!
It’s a cute cabin, clean and comfortable. Staffs are friendly. Especially Holly! She greets you with a big smile and was able to assisted me with my late arrival and check in. There are a lot of nice restaurants close by and places to explore. I would definitely recommend.

great staff ,wonderful fireplace, clean room-really loved the place!
Everything was fine. Just like many hotels in Dubois it was a little run down, carpet was old and stained, aesthetic repairs were noticeable. The room was clean though, parking was fine.

This unique hotel is on the National Register of Historic Places and its age shows. It’s old, and with the timber construction it’s quite noisy. You can hear other rooms clearly and if you’re on the main floor, the footsteps above really carry.
