Ten minute walk to Temple bar area

Posted 19-Sep-2016
Pros: Location & Price
Cons: Make sure glasses, cups and spoons are clean. Get rid of carpet in rooms.
This hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to the Temple Bar area and all the action. Near convenience stores, restaurants, bus stops. Airlink 747 from Airport left us off 2 streets away. We did not attend Irish show at hotel as it was a bit pricey. Murray's Pub down O'Connell street had excellent food. No face-rags available at hotel so bring your own. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rent a room at tbe front of the hotel, the back was noisy at night.

centrale ligging

Ruime badkamer, alles schoon. Dagelijks schoonmaak. Bedden wel wat aan de korte kant.

Bell'albergo, ottima posizione

Posted 10-Sep-2016

Good hotel with excellent staff

Posted 07-Sep-2016
Enjoyed our stay at the Belvedere, all the tourist areas are within walking distance. Hotel staff were excellent and had one evening meal which was really good. Only downside was being woken early by bins being emptied

Parnell Square- walking distance to everything!

Posted 06-Sep-2016
I was quite pleased with my stay at the Belvedere! I arrived early and was delighted that my room was ready. They gave me room 302- which is a corner room on the top floor. The weather was stunning- and being able to keep the windows open to allow for a cross breeze made it even better. The bathroom and shower had just been upgraded in beautiful gray tile and glass. Very nice- wanted to take that shower home with me! The staff were very helpful and friendly- and the hotel is just around the corner from O'Connell Street and walking distance to all the points of interest. I love to walk a city when I travel- so for me this was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel- and thank them for a wonderful first experience in this vibrant city.

Nicely located but too noisy at night.

Posted 05-Sep-2016
Pros: Location, restaurant and the room would have been fine perhaps if the Windows could have been closed.
Cons: Air conditioning or at least fans on request.
Location: It was just a 20 minute walk to the City Center and easy to get buses or taxis if you don't want to walk. Good restaurants nearby including one in hot
So warm we had to sleep with window open and people were out all night, every night talking, fighting, singing etc. Too warm rooms with no fans when requested made it very difficult to sleep. Front desk was friendly and helpful and restaurant had good food, moderate prices and good service.

Disappointing. Not clean.

Posted 31-Aug-2016
Pros: The location was fine.
Cons: Cleanliness and attention to detail.
Location: Services and pubs are nearby. Access to city center is only a 15min walk.
- Check in process was easy, however - Room was dirty, there was no toilet paper in the room at our check in and some kind of crumbles were in the bed, also - Three fat flies were flying happily around the room, and - The w.c. didn't flush easily -maybe 5 tries after, not exaggerating, - Some staff was friendly
