This is a very nice hotel with wonderful surroundings being apart of the golf course and right on the beach. Its in a convenient location near plenty of shops, restaurants, and places for sightseeing. Its also not far from the airport. Overall, a nice place to stay.

My stay at Portmarnock was exceptional. The perfect final stay for my last night in Ireland. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. The hotel and my room was beautiful. The grounds were peaceful and breathtaking. My spa experience was just what I hoped. And The Jameson was friendly and delicious. Highly recommend.

It was a great facility, room was great, staff were really good and very helpful, the spa was awesome, but there was only 1 dining option in the Pub and it was crowded and noisy. Was hoping at least one of the other Sea View dining rooms was open, but it wasn't. That's my only reason for ranking it a 4 - everything else was superb.

The location is unbeatable, looking out onto the famous Velvet Strand of golden beach. Seaview rooms are worth the extra cost! Charming welcome from Sonia and we appreciated being able to check in at 1pm when we arrived. Generous check out of 12 noon is also a bonus. Lovely room, excellent breakfast and all the staff are so nice. We come here every year and will keep doing so!

Brilliant stay, massive comfortable bed, very clean room, really tasty breakfast with lots of options for breakfast. Friendly staff. Only negative was that the car park was full as there appeared to be a corporate event at the hotel. We had nowhere to park our car and ended up having to leave it near a housing development a short walk from the hotel which I wasn’t completely comfortable doing.
