The unit is very well maintained especially given the age of the property. We also had the opportunity to meet Doug, our host. He was very attentive and helpful. Ultimately there were no problems, the property felt safe, and even when strolling in the evening, my family of 6 had a wonderful first visit to Dublin. The townhouse itself was comfortable, and clean, and the host was VERY prompt with answering questions, giving advice about how to get a cab to the airport, and checking in to make sure we were good. I can’t say enough good things about this rental. We had 4 adults and 1 kid stay here over Christmas week. They had even decorated and gifted us Christmas crackers. The accommodations can seem small at first if you’re from the US but it’s really well laid out and we had plenty of space, even when we spent most of Christmas Day inside (most things are closed, so we had planned to cook in). The location in the Liberties is fantastic. We walked all over Dublin, and there are chemists and grocers nearby too. We felt very safe where we stayed—there is a gated entry and the area was quiet at night. Doug was incredibly communicative throughout our stay. Just the most lovely hosts. ##### Theresa W. We always felt safe and it was great to see a non-touristy part of Dublin with great local pubs and eating spots just a block away. Small backyard with a picnic table was perfect spot for meals. 10 minute walk to the Brazen Head Pub and about 15 minutes from the Temple Bar area. Sleeps 6 comfortably with clean bathroom with shower on the 2nd floor. Great spot to explore downtown Dublin by foot. Communication with Doug was prompt and very helpful. He stopped by to make sure everything was good. The unit itself was well appointed. Though the one bath was a bit of a challenge, we made it work. Once we arrived and began to circulate in the city we spoke to locals who told us how dangerous the neighborhood was. Though it was located behind locked gates, getting there at night put us in a bit of peril.
