Parking was great right next to my window. The hotel is out of town but convenient for commuting. No dinner so had to go out. Room functional. Staff were very friendly and helpful

This is a good budget hotel. It provides you with the bare necessities and the staff was pretty nice. They adhere to the 3pm check in. The one thing that I did not care for was smelling smoke in the hallway. With people smoking right at the front door, the smoke comes inside of the hotel. I forgot that some European budget hotels don’t have elevators. Not an issue but plan accordingly if you have large suitcases.

-The room and the bathroom was very clean. -The front desk was open 24/7. -We were on a road trip and we arrived very late at 4am. And the reception guy was very nice and quickly checked us in. Also we called multiple times to the hotel since we were arriving late. They were always responding nicely so we were stress free.

Hotel was good. Nicely priced. Didn’t like the smokers outside at the entrance. A lot of dirty air enters the hotel room through the window. And it was too hot to keep the window shut.

This is a stop over Ibis with stop over prices.To far out of Dresden to get a taxi in for a nose(was on motorbike) Hotel itself has free fairly secure parking,helpful staff with a breakfast that will fill you up,not a large choice but ample to get you going. Room is budget(as is the hotel)bed was comfortable enough but the pillows are shocking,absolutely terrible.Here's a thing fot them to try,get the Ibis boss to come a lay his head on these and see if he thinks they are fit for purpose, they are not.I laughed when I opened the toilet door,the toilet/ shower is an exact modular copy of the toilet on a Brittany ferry,functional and served it's purpose. Rest of the room was ok for the price range. If like me your on a motorbike then food options are limited,no delivery service locally but I found a decent supermarket a 5 minute walk from the hotel,opposite the petrol station on the main road,was very handy.I also had a beer on the bench outside the petrol station with a couple of locals,great stuff. All in all,an acceptable hotel for its price range,but do something with those pillows.

Old prob w/children @ hotels.com vs hotel policies

At check in the lady stated that my toner daughter(16) was NOT a child in an unfriendly way. I said that at hotels.com I selected child and stated she is 16, but she didn't understand or didn't want to. Irrespective, the room cost was the same so I don't know what the guys was all about... Still, a negative check in experience.

This is by some margin the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The man on check in seemed to be playing the role of unhelpful communist DDR official - possibly the man controlling access to sausages. The room is just as you would imagine jail, including a lavatory with no seat. Once night falls the corridors ring with the sound of people coughing up their lungs, which even drowns out the noise of the motorway. Dresden must be a TB hotspot. There is no bar or restaurant and you need binoculars to see the televiusion from the bed, but there is a lively traffic in prostitutes. The walls are thin enough to hear them performing their services on various lorry drivers. The place is situated on a windswept vacant lot between several sinister structures that may be slaughterhouses and/or knocking shops. So I can't honestly recomend it.

Das Zimmer war für einen kurzen Besuch ausreichend. Positiv,sehr netter Empfang und super nette Mitarbeiter im Frühstücksraum.Das Frühstück war ausreichend und selbst bei voller Belegung wurde dafür gesorgt,das man einen Tisch bekam. Das Bad war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, Waschbecken im Zimmer und auch nicht ganz sauber. Im Zimmer kam es teilweise zu Gerüchen wenn andere Gäste in anderen Zimmern das Bad benutzen.(Urin und Duschbad der anderen Gäste). Außerdem muss man selbst wenn man nicht so groß ist aufpassen,sich nicht am oberen Bett zu stoßen. Ich bin nur 1,56m klein und hab mich mächtig am Kopf gestoßen als ich was am Bett ablegen wollte. Viele Handwerker im Hotel,die natürlich sehr zeitig aufstehen müssen, also wurde man auch mit wach.Parkplätze waren genügend vorhanden. Man muss auf den Preis schauen und was man dafür in Kauf nehmen will.

Das Ibis Budget ist bei dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für ein oder zwei Nächte völlig ausreichend. Lediglich das Dusch-Klo ist so gewöhnungsbedürftig, dass man sich kurz überlegt, lieber zu Hause zu duschen. Das Personal hat aber alle kurzen Überlegungen, ob man nicht doch besser etwas mehr Geld hätte investieren sollen, wieder wett gemacht. Die Dame an der Rezeption ist an natürlicher Freundlichkeit nicht zu überbieten und hat uns den Aufenthalt sehr positiv bereichert.
