The hotel is a great location easy 10-15 min walk to Beale st and the waterfront. We were three adults and booked a room as such. Very cramped no place to put luggage. One day no maid service beds not made trash not emptied etc. For a hotel downtown it is a good value. They couldn't print out a recept when we checked out. Send they would e-mail it 4 days and still haven't gotten it.
Friendly service, right off of Beale so no walking, and good security always available kept me feeling safe. $19 parking, but the garage is connected to hotel and easy to access. Overall great experience.
"Within a Walk of all Downtown Memphis Attractions."
We are a family with two older teenagers so the suite here was ideal. There was a separate area with a sofa, desk, chair and kitchenette ( fridge and microwave etc ). If the temperatures are above 90 degrees as it was when we resided pay for the valet parking, it's well worth it. The pool is great for a refreshing dip and breakfast is fine, although nothing special. One bad point is on one of the 3 days we stayed they did not service our room. However when we pointed this out they provided fresh towels etc within minutes! Overall recommended for downtown Memphis.
Enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn Downtown.Very nice Staff ,also nice Sercurity Man very helpful when needed a late night food carry out he ordered for us and it was delivered to our room door. Our room was nice, and clean good maid service.
We picked the hottest four days in recent history, every day was over 108 F.
The staff (Big Hugh, Gerald and Pam) were extremely nice, everyone was so accommodating and helpful in giving us ideas on where to eat, visit or spend our evenings. Unfortunately the Hotel had no pool and no one could tell us where we could go swimming.
The two bedroom suite was spacious, very comfortable and clean.
We used the valet parking and if you plan on leaving the hotel and drive around, this is the best bang for your buck hands down.
The breakfast buffet was good, but could use some variety for people who spend more than two days. The food tasted very good, and there was always enough to go around.
We didn't make it to any of the mixers with samples of food and drinks that they provided in the evening, but it was nice to know they were available.
