I stayed across the street from the San Carlos for several visits, but decided to try the San Carlos this trip and it was a good choice. Upgraded 2 queen bed room to a suite without asking. Suite was clean and well maintained. Daughter used the gym with no complaints. I love the east midtown location.

"Hotel nearby grand central area with a lot of homeless. Smell weeds at the entrances. No customers service. Front of the hotel darkness and scary at night. Room is smelled old and poor of hygiene. I don’t want to recommend anyone stay at this hotel because they’ve not maintained their brand."
