"Only stayed for one night as a stop-over from Hobart to Launceston. The house is a one level three bedroom open living style house with renovated features. Very comfortable stay with heaters in all parts of the house. Outdoor area is in construction mode but that doesn't hamper with the stay. 100m walk to the beach. Very small town with little to do but does the job as a stop over, local pub serves great meals."

Beachfront At Bicheno

10/10 Excellent

"Pool was closed. It was the middle of winter so most people probably wouldn't want to swim in it anyway (was reasonably warm), but it was filled with water so that's at least a possibility and it annoys me a great deal when stuff is listed on a site and not functional so I wanted to note it. Great stay other than that."

"The room we stayed in was functional and clean. The views over the beach were great. Only knocks I have are the hot water pressure is practically non existent and they have installed a sauna but it was not operational as yet which was a disappointment. But otherwise it was clean and provided a good spot to spend a couple of days in the area."

"The beachfront stone cottage was excellent, cosy and warm for our winter stay with a small fireplace to assist with beating the chill. Very quiet and all amenities provided for a stay. The breakfast basket was great and was all that was needed. The 'Homstead' restaurant was superb and needs to be booked due to its popularity."
