Plumber Manor is a perfect place to stay if you want a peaceful retreat in beautiful gardens , a comfortable bed and delicious food. It has a well stocked bar and the wine prices are reasonable. The only negative was the wifi was weak in the courtyard room we stayed in which caused ‘buffering’ when watching a film. We mentioned it to staff and it will be rectified. Great staff, good location, really nice hotel and good value - can’t go wrong.

Our room was lovely, suitably large with 2 good wardrobes and a light over the dressing table mirror. The mattress was very comfortable and table water was always available. Breakfast was served in the conservatory with a lovely view of the enclosed garden. We ventured away from the Full English to try the omelettes which were delicious! The owner, Noorani Willamson is charming, chatty and very knowledgable about the surrounding area.

It was a fantastic little place and very welcoming on arrival. In fact, my partner thought it to be a suitable place to ask to marry him. There is a lovely garden where you can enjoy a nice cup of tea and then breakfast was incredibly generous. Would definitely recommend friends and family to stay and will be staying again myself if in the area:

Easy access to beach and pier. Plenty of on-site parking and staff were very helpful and efficient. Will stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay with a newborn child. Bet and Poppy were very courteous, Zoe in reception was also amazing. We felt extremely welcomed so thank you. The breakfast was just sublime. Just a few bits of other feedback. The ventilation in the bathroom is quite poor, the bed mattress was also uneven making sleeping uncomfortable. Overall, we will come back again and stay.

Great weekend stay, I would book again.

It was in a peaceful location, although a bit far for walking into town. But the facilities were spot on, though there is no oven to cook proper meals. For someone who needs a quiet, chilled out, restful timeout, it is the perfect place to stay.

2nd stay, house on a side road just up from the harbour with free parking if you are lucky, but parking nearby is £6.30 in a car park very close if you are unlucky and cannot park outside. House is comfortable without being stuffy, has all mod cons and a small backyard for smokers or eating breakfast on a warm day. No doubt we will return in the near future.

Our family had a wonderful time at West Bay staying at 2 Driftwood. The accommodation was clean, warm and situated in the heart of the town. It was only a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and the jetty. It is such a pretty place, the view along the beach is stunning and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. I recommend staying here.

This chalet is amazing! It has everything you could possibly want for a perfect stay and as close to the beach (pebbles) as possible with views over the sea. A really quiet and picturesque location. 10/10
