"Excellent hotel, room not of the same quality"
The hotel is excellent - pleasant, professional staff, top quality food. Unfortunately the room does not match the standards of the rest of the hotel. While being very clean, some minor maintenance issues let it down. We also lost hot water for one night - not good after a hot sticky day at the beach! I cannot recommend the food highly enough - the breakfast choices were excellent and the staff were attentive. Special requirements were catered for if needed. The food in the brassereie and the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. I would recommend the hotel, however I would say that you should not expect the room quality to match the facilities.

"Comfortable hotel in very good location"
Booked a double room for 2 nights including breakfast. Lovely spacious room with fan which was definitely needed as weather glorious. Bathroom on the small side but clean and toiletries provided. Cooked Breakfast was very enjoyable and very quick in arriving. Car parking free for the 2 days which is a bonus in busy Bournemouth. Used the pool and Jacuzzi. Would definitely return in future.

"Great little B&B"
Clean, spacious, lovely breakfast with friendly and accommodating staff. Bit of a trek to Weymouth from portland but B&B is located right next to a bus stop and the bus came almost as often as it's London counterparts. Portland itself was awesome to explore.

Kersbrook

Pound Road, Lyme Regis - Map

"Typical English B&B Hotel."
Well run hotel, with polite and friendly staff. Breakfast's that set you up for the day. Decor slighty tired in places but that might add to it's charm. Seaview rooms face on to at times a busy road so are not that quiet. Car parking is a bit tight for numbers but gardens a well kept and tidy. We would quite happily stsy here again

Water Sports: Hotels Near Portland Harbour

There are also numerous activities around the harbour designed to get your heart-rate up, such as horse-riding and some excellent climbing routes. The Heights Hotel is just a stone's throw from the harbour, giving you easy access to a whole host of activities combined with the facility to relax in sumptuous surroundings at the end of the day.
