    The beautiful North Sea beach and the Dornumersiel harbour, with its heated outdoor pool, are a five-minute drive away. And even when the sun isn’t always shining, there are plenty of options for day trips: beautiful nearby towns, the “Sonneninsel” water park in Bensersiel, the wave pool and the seal sanctuary in Norddeich, the charming fishing village of Greetsiel, the wharf village of Pilsum, Lütetsburg Castle Park, the “Ewiges Meer” nature reserve, Germany’s largest raised bog lake, Wiesmoor—East Frisia’s “flower town”—day trips to the East Frisian Islands, mudflat hikes to the islands, fishing trips, and bike tours. We have a very well-developed network of bike paths.
