Mattress however was very old, saggy, uncomfortable and I think it had bed bugs. As soon as I lay down wherever my skin touched the mattress I could feel bugs biting me. They were not in the room, they were clearly from the mattress. It was so bad I had to try and put anything between me and the mattress, and felt itchy and crawly. The mattress was like an old saggy burrito, my back hurt from the springs pushing through.
