My friends and I were only in Montreal for a single night for IglooFest. We knew we would be coming back to the room tired and late so the quality was not our concern. The rooms are tiny, only big enough for a bed and small table. No outdoor lighting as it’s in the basement. The room was clean upon arrival, no complaints. The shower was lukewarm at best, and the pressure was pretty low. Overall, it was fine for our purposes (mainly because 2/6 of our group mangaged to sleep elsewhere 😉), but I definitely would not recommend for a several day trip unless you don’t expect to spend any time at the room. (1,004 reviews) Everything about Boxotel was so lovely, cozy, organized, clean, an absolute delight. Nabil (not sure how to spell?), the front desk staff we interacted with most, was the most accomodating and ensured our stay was as convenient and relaxing as possible. He was truly so lovely to interact with. The rooms were equipped with kitchenware to cook, wonderful laundry machines, clean bathrooms, and really comfortable beds. No notes. The place was perfect.
