INDEPENDENT and on two floors, with a "sea view" terrace and an outdoor area that remains under the terrace (where you can have lunch, read or smoke a good cigar in the presence of nature even on hot summer days). You enter a small hall, then we have the living room with fireplace and TV, a new and large double sofa bed + another single bed. The living room can be completely closed by means of two sliding doors, thus becoming a practical sleeping area. Then we have the large "d'antan" kitchen, with now unobtainable pieces such as the beautiful marble sink, a large table, a sideboard, an electric oven and a microwave. A slate staircase leads to the upper floor, where there is a bathroom with shower and a comfortable double bedroom, with a beaded ceiling, then a closet and finally a beautiful terrace with sea view, recently refurbished, with chairs, table and umbrella . The price is all inclusive (wifi internet, private and reserved parking under the house, access to the swimming pool and bbq area), to bring your own SHEETS AND TOWELS. In winter (from October to March) the rental cost does not include WIFI, heating and electricity costs. Casa Marta is one of the last houses in the tiny village of LECCHIORE, before the large olive grove. The carriage road, which passes 100 meters below the house, ends after 1 km, so the location is very quiet and peaceful. We are surrounded by olive trees which, between November and December, produce an excellent extra-virgin oil, one of the finest in Italy. THE SWIMMING POOL/RELAX OASIS (shared with the guests of our other two houses for rent), with walls redone in old stone, is our flagship, but we must not forget that in the nearby sea you can swim almost all day long. year, since we are in the province of Imperia, elected by the Sole 24 Ore as the city with the best climate in Italy. The new relaxation oasis swimming pool, renovated in 2019 and renewed in 2022 with a new salt filtration system, stands among the olive trees and will be open until FROM JUNE TO SEPTEMBER: it is a REAL swimming pool, inground and with a new, surrounded by olive trees, measuring 11 x 5 meters, with a very comfortable Roman access staircase, and a diving board for children. It has a brand new lawn, on two levels of 160 square meters with umbrellas, tables and deck chairs, in a muffled atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. Around the pool we have organized 2 equipped and spaced out areas to accommodate the other family that we welcome into our other holiday house: here social distancing is naturally guaranteed (since before Covid 19)! We have recently built a stone barbecue, a few meters from the pool, which can be freely used from all our guests. A new CYCLE PATH winds its way from San Lorenzo (about 20 minutes by car from Lecchiore) for 27 km along the sea, reaching Ospedaletti. By renting a bike in the agreed points (one in the Prino area in Imperia Porto Maurizio and one in San Lorenzo for example) you can take the beautiful panoramic tour along the Riviera di Ponente, meeting bars, play areas for children and splendid panoramic views. Our guests can thus alternate days at the beach with others in the pool, or immerse themselves in the large forest, on foot or by mountain bike, to meet the splendid natural lakes immersed in nature, with water that is always crystal clear and fresh: a bath is 'obligation! The villages of our HINTERLAND (of which Lecchiore belongs) are very characteristic and still offer family-run trattorias, where you can taste good "sciac - e -tra" red wine, as well as obviously our highly prized extra virgin olive oil (which you can also buy in the oil mill and Nicola's sales point "Olio Asplanato" is right under the house). SANREMO is about 35 km away, MONTECARLO 70 km, Genoa with its famous aquarium is 120 km away. Imperia offers you natural BEACHES, in sand or stone, free or for a fee. Definitely worth visiting are the breathtaking panoramic point of the loggias of Santa Chiara, accessible from the PARRASIO in Porto Maurizio (the beautiful historic centre), the MACI, a contemporary art museum housed in a beautiful 1930s villa, the Naval Museum of Imperia, the Museo dell'Olivo dell'Olio Carli and the singular and spectacular Villa Grock (which belonged to the famous clown Adrien Wettach). Marta made a video showing how to find the property and to park. We had our own spot that for our car, sheltered by Olive Trees. Marta met us and showed us around the property. It is small, neat, and very clean. We appreciated the little family touches which show the properties history. The kitchen was adequate with a good range of plates and utensils. My wife likes to cook and was happy to be able to do so. We had our own terrace, open to the sun. Wifi was adequate and allowed me to stream and use Amazon Prime Videos via HDMI on the small TV. We brought our own adaptors and just about managed with slaving off the italian to EU adaptors. There were some lovely views down the valley towards Imperia and the Mediterranean beyond. The swimming pool was quite large and also had an adjoining barbecue area that is shared with other properties. I love walking, and accompanied by my dog, we explored the local hills and tracks with a different view or point of interest around every corner. A 20 minute drive along fairly narrow roads brought us into Imperia and we made good use of the CONAD superstore which had an excellent range of local vegetables, meats and wines.We did spend a lot of time researching a suitable cottage in the area and were pleased with this choice. The little cottage was perfect for us as a couple with a dog, we appreciated the peace and quiet and the area. ##### Stephen R. Die Übergabe vom Haus bei Einzug war pünktlich und freundlich. Das haus und die Umgebung waren ordentlich und gut ausgestattet. Der Weg zu einem der vielen nahegelegenen Steände umfasst ca 25 Minuten. Man muss aber nicht unbedingt zum Meer, der Pool vor Ort war super und sauber, wurde regelmäßig durch Marco gereinigt. Malerische Fußwege, nur ein paar Minuten bis in den Wald und zu den natürlichen Seen. Dazu der wunderschöne Pool direkt am Haus. Das Haus selbst ist typisch schlicht gehalten, man fühlt sich einfach in Italien. Bei der Ausstattung fehlte es an nichts. Die gesamte Anlage war sehr gut gepflegt. Wir als vierköpfige Familie mit zwei Teenis und Hund haben den Aufenthalt genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Dazu beigetragen haben auch die liebenswerte und hilfsbereite Marta mit ihrem Vater Marco. Zweimal pro Woche wird nach Vorankündigung für ca 2 std der Pool gereinigt. Wir hatten das Glück den Pool während der Zeit alleine nutzen zu können. Das war Luxus. So konnten wir auch den Grill jederzeit frei nutzen. Man muss sich allerdings im Klaren sein das Lecchiore etwas abseits liegt und man zum einkaufen immer ein Auto benötigt. Die Straßen sind sehr schmal. Man muss geduldig fahren. Ein Besuch am Strand in Imperia oder Porto Maurizio ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben ruhige Tage am Pool mit einem Bummel durch die Städte oder Strandbesuche abgewechselt. Sehr ruhig und geeignet zum Erholen. Wanderwege und Radtouren ins Hinzerland sind sehr gut möglich. Ist immer leicht kühler als Imperia und es weht auch meist ein laues Lüftchen, was sehr erholsamen war. Die Strecke bis nach Imperia ist sehr kurvenlastig und dauert. Il n'y a pas dans la casa Marta deux chambres et un salon, mais une chambre et un salon pouvant servir de chambre . Les lits dans ce salon ne peuvent convenir à des adultes. Les matelas et sommiers sont mauvais et les oreillers et les couvertures sentent mauvais. La maison n'est pas propre. Le propriétaire semble compter sur les locataires pour assurer la propreté du lieu. La vaisselle mise à disposition est très disparate et placée dans un meuble qui sent le renfermé. "La nostra permanenza alla Casetta è stata una bellissima esperienza in un ambiente caldo e confortevole. La casa è attrezzata di tutto il necessario per alloggiarvici comodamente. È arredata in modo accogliente e pratico, curata nei minimi dettagli e, soprattutto, estremamente pulita. Il paesaggio è incantevole con un superbo panorama godibile dalla terrazza dove abbiamo trascorso tanto tempo. Si possono fare delle lunghe passeggiate tra olivi, boschi e laghetti. Dolcedo, il paese piú grande nelle vicinanze, è un piccolo bellissimo mondo a sé stante fornito di tutto... ristoranti, bar, pizzerie, alimentari, macellerie... e di tanta gente simpatica e cordiale. Imperia ha un bel centro storico molto interessante da visitare e scoprire. I vicini della Casetta sono delle persone molto simpatiche e disponibili come anche il proprietario, il signor Marco, che ci ha dato il benvenuto. "La maison (Casa Marta) est impeccable, petite mais jolie. Elle est située dans un petit village de montagne typique. La vue sur les montagnes des alentours, peuplées d'oliviers, est superbe. Il y a des petits coins magnifiques à voir non loin du village (à 30 min de marche), tout comme Dolcedo qui vaut le détour (10 minutes en voiture). La piscine est très agréable, idéale pour les jeunes enfants, mais elle est à l'ombre en fin d'après-midi. La mer (Imperia) est à 20 minutes en voiture. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances, au calme, mais avec la possibilité de vite (40 min de trajet) se retrouver dans des endroits plus animés et touristiques (Diano Marina, Alassio, San Remo, etc). Seul léger bémol, les routes de montagne pour arriver au village, un peu difficiles en voiture." ##### José B. ---
