The best thing about this hotel are the jacuzzi baths. Absolutely brilliant for you and a partner to enjoy. And the rooms are massive. They are also 10min walking distance to the centre of Liverpool but still far enough away that it’s quiet at night time. The rooms need a little updating, ours had a lot of water damage on the roof which made the room look very run down. And the lifts were in need of touching up too. Which you wouldn’t expect as the reception area is decorated beautifully and very well presented. The 2nd night we stayed, we went up to our room to find both room keys didn’t work to enter. So that was a pain. There was also no phone available in the room either, which I thought was very strange. As they did have info about room service to your room. And they only offered you one pillow each for the bed. Not ideal tbh. The staff are all very friendly and service was done as quickly as possible. I would recommend the dessert place across the road. It’s open till 11pm, perfect for a late night sweet snack. All in all I would rate my hotel experience 6/10. Purely on the fact the rooms need some series tlc for the price you are paying per night.

We liked our stay very much

For a short break in Liverpool this hotel is excellent. Ten minutes from the train station and then 5 minutes to the brilliant Albert Dock and Cavern club. Outstanding value for money for the location and very friendly staff.

Perfectly located this hotel is high standard in all areas Facilities in the spacious room where superior to most Breakfast was very high standard I have never had better anywhere Staff exceptionally friendly

Good leisure centre not much choices on menu’s The room we stayed in The main building needs updating not good for people with difficulty on climbing stairs .stayed here before nice hotel
