Beautiful location with private beach. The beach is a little coarse and there are rocks in the ocean, but it was really nice. The pool and pool deck were great. Breakfast was good. Lunch and dinner menus were mediocre. Overall very happy with our stay.

We stayed at La Taverna for 5 nights in late June. The room was clean, the area was quiet. The swimming pool was perfect, not crowded, and the beach was at a walkable distance. Appreciated the shop and local restaurants nearby.
The staff was very helpful. There was a free shuttle to the train station (we visitedTropea).
I can recommend La Taverna!

Pros: perfect for couples. Parking available. Amazing view. Private and quiet. Attentive staff.
Cons: the building and the common areas need maintenance and some love. The AC in our room did not work properly. They only give you one keycard, so the AC turns on when you come in to the room. Not ideal after spending the day at the beach or in town.

Hotel is a bit dated but well kept. Clean room, clean bathroom, good amenities. Hotel is rather for business stays because it is not close to old part of Cosenza.

I loved the pool & the mineral warm tub! There’s a store right across the street if you need anything. The beach is beautiful. There was a nice bar, free breakfast & delicioso dinners!

Beautiful resort and a short walk through a tunnel to the beach. There is very limited dining (one restaurant on site and one at the resort next door). There is no where else to eat and without a car, you are stranded in the middle of nowhere. If you don’t have access to a car, I would not recommend ...
